Decatur residents, voice your ideas and join us for a fun day of designing a potential housing development for 600 Commerce Drive in partnership with the City of Decatur!
This event is the second in our lineup of community engagement with the City of Decatur to showcase the newly adopted missing middle housing zoning amendment. This amendment allows the development of up to a four-plex in all single-family residential zones.
Now, the city is preparing to build a new housing development on 600 Commerce Drive, Decatur, and we want to hear from you about what you think it should be!
During this design charrette, Decatur residents will have the opportunity to share your ideas and vision for what potential missing middle housing development you would like to see developed in their city. We'll be joined by our resident architectural designers at the MicroLife Institute, who will be taking your ideas and turning them into a beautiful mock-up design!
The goal of this project is to later actually develop what is designed in partnership with Decatur residents, bringing your ideas to life. We can't wait to see you there!
