Will Johnston
Will Johnston is the Executive Director of the MicroLife Institute, where he is a thought leader in the micro living world. With a focus on challenging norms and encouraging creative thinking, he has played a pivotal role in promoting sustainable and innovative development. Under his leadership, the organization has led the charge for policy change and the widespread acceptance of micro structures in the Southeast through various events, advocacy efforts, and nationally recognized projects. His unique philosophy revolves around putting people in a box to encourage them to think outside of it. Will is a distinguished graduate of several leadership programs, including LEAD Atlanta (Class of 2012), ULI Atlanta Center For Leadership Program (Class of 2019), and the Regional Leadership Institute (Class of 2022). He received his Masters in Community Development at the University of Georgia in 2023, where he developed his expertise in innovative community-based solutions.
