Hammod Park Townhomes

With funding from a grant provided by the Georgia Office of Planning and Budget, MicroLife Institute has completed a nine-unit 3 bed/2 bath townhome community in Atlanta’s Hammond Park neighborhood. This development is designed to provide stable housing and support for women returning from incarceration for nonviolent offenses, helping them reunite with their families and children in a safe, supportive environment.

The property and reentry program will be operated by our partners at Housing Plus, an organization dedicated to closing generational wealth gaps through housing equity advocacy, policy, and community-driven initiatives across the Greater Atlanta region.

Construction has reached substantial completion, and we are currently working with the City and our partners to prepare the community for residents, with occupancy anticipated later in 2026.

Housing Plus is a mission-driven nonprofit working across the Greater Atlanta region to deliver equitable housing solutions and economic wellness programs for low- and moderate-income households. Through a combination of housing stability services, financial education, and community partnerships, they help families not only access safe, stable housing, but also build the financial resilience needed to sustain it and pursue long-term goals like homeownership.

We’re incredibly excited to partner with Housing Plus as they lead operations and resident programming at our Hammond Park Townhomes. Their holistic, people-centered approach—connecting housing with supportive services and economic opportunity—makes them an ideal partner to ensure residents are set up for long-term success and stability.
